W3O is leading the alterations and additions to the existing Lenmed Wilmed Hospital in Klerksdorp, a significant healthcare expansion designed to increase specialist capacity and enhance patient care.
The project scope includes the demolition of a portion of the existing structure, bulk excavation and formation of a soil mattress, and the construction of several new medical facilities.
These include a CSSD, 10, bed CCU, CATH laboratory, major theatre, kitchen, laundry, staff rest areas, ablutions, and a 16, bed ICU (structure and perimeter brickwork). The development also includes four new consulting suites and two plant room areas on the first floor.
Working within a live hospital environment, W3O’s team has managed the project with precision and sensitivity, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
